Using GiftAid for your donation

Whether you give online, by bank transfer, by standing order, or by cheque, you may use GiftAid to make your donation.

GiftAid boosts your donation by 25p of GiftAid for every £1 you donate. GiftAid is reclaimed by the Cardiff Oratory from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer. In order to GiftAid your donation(s), you have three options:—

1. Email admin@cardifforatory.co.uk with the following information:
— your full legal name,
— your full address (including post code),
— the following language (just copy and paste): ‘I wish to Gift Aid my donation of £ (insert amount) and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to the Oratory of St Philip Neri at Cardiff, Registered Charity No. 1170563. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of GiftAid claimed on all my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.‘
— the date, and
— your ‘electronic signature’ (simply type ‘Signed:’ and your name).

2. Download and post the GiftAid Declaration form to: Oratory House, Cameron Street, Cardiff, CF24 2NX, United Kingdom.
